“What a Ride”!  As our District Secretary, Fern Lohse, said at District 4 Meeting.

That is the way I feel and hope you also do as a result of attending your District Meeting held in Hamilton, MT, October 9&10, 2004. Your district officers had a goal for all in attendance to be enlightened, refreshed and have a good time. Wasn’t Elvis Presley great!  He has been invited to perform next year by SI Whitefish.  Good luck SI Whitefish. 

Another surprise visitor was a gorilla who delivered chocolate covered frozen bananas as a morning snack. I hear our menu of the buffalo steaks was included in District 2’s call and they received several reservations.  Bummer for them as the steaks were a treat. 

Workshops, speakers, a ride on a real school bus and much more filled our weekend. There were a lot of positive changes and new programs presented to us and many thanks to your Northwestern Region Officers for their presentations to help us. Our resources are endless and with the dedication of all we will achieve all of our goals. Area meetings are in the works for District 4 and will be voted on at our next District 4 Meeting to be in Whitefish, MT, October 8&9, 2005.  At my club visits I will share more information.  This is very flexible and all clubs and members will have input.  I am including the following information.
