Send Us Your News!

You can now send us your club and member news for our news section on www.soroptimistnwr.com! All news will be available for viewing from the public side of the site as well as member's only, so it is now time to Toot Our Own Horns!

To send your article and pictures, please follow the easy instructions below:

1. Type your news item in a Word or text program. (Notepad is a text editor).
2. Save your article on your local hard drive (usually the folder My Documents), with a descriptive name - i.e. BillingsFundraiser
3. Ensure your name and your email address is at the beginning of the article, so in case we need to get in touch with you we have a contact person.
4. Pictures speak a thousand words - please send a picture to accompany your article! It must be in digital format and no larger than 72dpi*. If the image is from your digital camera it probably will be 72dpi. If you are scanning the picture, then scan to a resolution of 72dpi. The jpeg image format is the best format to send.
   • Save your image with a descriptive name so we can match the image to the article (i.e. BillingsFundraiser.jpg
   • If your picture is of specific people, be sure to identify by name in your article
5. When you are ready to send us your article and pictures, just go to the form below. When you click on the "Browse Button", you will see the directory of your own computer - find the document file, click on Open, and your file is ready to be uploaded. Follow the same steps to upload your image file, then click on the UPLOAD BUTTON. If you need to upload more files and/or images, simply come back to this page and use the form below.

Once your file has been uploaded to a directory on the website, you will see the file name(s) of your files at the top of this page. Your Web Development team will be notified by email that your article is there. All articles are approved by the Governor, and usually take about 24 hours for approval.
