EVALUATION BY A 1ST TIME ATTENDEE:
“Motivational, informed, professional speakers. Wonderful to meet
so many dedicated and ‘fun’ Soroptimist members. Evening entertainment
was a HOOT! What surprisingly interesting women in District 3. Thank you
for such a nice time!” - A 1st timer.

3 was the first district in the region to pay all dues to region treasurer
Shaneen by July 1st!
- District
3 is the only district in the region with all clubs in good standing!
From the
Leading Edge on Friday to the “Hobo” song on Sunday, the members
of District 3 attending our 50th celebration were informed, educated and
entertained. For all of you that could not attend the meeting, we missed
you! Our keynote speakers were excellent. Melinda Barrett gave us all
a whole new perspective on Domestic Violence issues. Carol McKay motivated
us with laughter and Kathy Sechrist educated us with her web site presentations.
On Saturday night, we celebrated years of service with a beautiful presentation
by Shirley Hansen “starring” the dedicated women of District
3 that have been members 15 or more years. Governor Dede presented club
awards and our lip sync concert was a huge success showing how creative
Soroptimist women can be!
District
3 is going strong. We are motivated and determined. We subscribe to our
lunch speaker, Carol McKay’s theory, “THINK IT, BELIEVE IT,
DO IT!”
