SI Portland North’s Spring Basket Auction

Portland North club held its annual spring live auction of gift baskets. This year, the event was held on a Saturday afternoon, which resulted in better attendance. Cake and ice cream was served. The club also honored Jamie Vidalez with our Women’s Opportunity Award and a check for $559.

District 2 Director, Carene Davis-Stitt attended but managed to get away without spending any money! Many handcrafted, one-of-a-kind gift baskets were provided by club members. Kristine Clarke, past president, always does an entertaining job as the auctioneer and manages to exceed our net profits every year. This year, the event more than doubled our proceeds from $800 last year to $1,700 this year.
