Raise Money for Mammograms

The six Southern
Oregon Clubs, SI Ashland, SI Medford, SI North Valley, SI Rogue Starlight
and SI Rogue Valley Sunrise - sponsored the 7th Cancer Awareness Project
(CAP) Walk on October 4th.
It was a
very successful and over $6,000 was raised to fund the Southern Oregon
Soroptimist Cancer Awareness Project which provides mammogram screenings
for men and women who are underinsured, have no insurance coverage or
the funds for the screenings. To date more than 600 mammograms have been
funded by the CAP.
